iPad
iPad is a tablet computer developed by Apple. Apple’s first tablet device was introduced in Jan-2010 and released in April-2010. it is mainly used for audio-visual media like books, movies, games, periodicals, and web content. The size and weight of ipad is similar to laptop computers and Smartphone’s and it runs similarly as the ipod touch and iphone. And the ipad will only run those programs which are approved by Apple. Ipad is controlled by multitouch display and uses a Wi-Fi connection to access all local networks and the Internet.
It is assembled by Foxcon, which is also manufactures by Apple’s in China in April 2011. ipad runs only by own software which is downloaded from Apple’s App store and it comes with many applications like photo, videos, youtube, mail, ipod, App Store, iBooks, Maps, Notes, Calendar, Contacts. Ipad has also an option of iBook it can be downloaded by App store which displays books and content downloaded from the iBookstore. In May 2010 ipad was released in several other countries also like Japan, Canada, and Australia and in European countries also. And it gave a positive response by its sale in these countries; several people had liked its devices with many features. By Time Magazine it was selected one of the best invention of the year 2010.
Uses of ipad: There are many uses of ipad which are as follows:-
1> In education sector we can use this as a communication with each other very easily, and it is also useful in home schooling by which several students can learn various skills in home. By this students can also learn how they can make social network also.
2> In Business sector we can also use this by distributing ipads to the employees so that they can do their work easily and quickly, It prevents the use of paper work and we can do every work with in a very short time. Uses of ipad reduce paperwork, increase productivity and increase revenue also. In it we can keep different types of records like clients details, health records of patient exams etc.
3> In sports sector the players can use it in their games by using its various new technologies.
