iPad

iPad is a tablet computer developed by Apple. Apple’s first tablet device was introduced in Jan-2010 and released in April-2010. it is mainly used for audio-visual media like books, movies, games, periodicals, and web content. The size and weight of ipad is similar to laptop computers and Smartphone’s and it runs similarly as the ipod touch and iphone. And the ipad will only run those programs which are approved by Apple. Ipad is controlled by multitouch display and uses a Wi-Fi connection to access all local networks and the Internet. Developed by the Open Handset Alliance led by Google, Android is an operating system for mobile devices such as smart phones and tablet computers. Google had purchased the initial developer of the software, Android Inc., in 2005. Its distribution was started on 5 November 2007, with the founding of the OHA, a consortium of eighty four hardware, software, and telecommunication companies devoted to advancing open standards for mobile devices.
